One Step 1-Step & Shoot Game
Teaching young learners to plant their foot beside the ball and kick with their shoe laces is very important, but just as important is the progressive presentation, the critical repetition, and the CHILD-CENTERED, POSITIVE APPROACH!
Three Step Shoot Game  3-Step Shoot
No standing in lines here! Repetition is the mother of skills . . . and with a minimum of three balls per player and four goals, great “shoelace kicks” can practiced and every child will score goals galore!!!
Body Part Game The Body Part Game!
In the “Body Part Game,” while your child is busy dribbling around the grid the coach yells out a variety of body parts like “ear” (as seen in the photo). This game teaches children to keep the ball control, as they must quickly get the designated body part to the ball the moment the coach yells it out. As you can see, the kids “dig it” and think it’s hilarious—yet are learning valuable skills simultaneously.
Brown Bear Game Big Brown Bear Game
Dribbling away from the BIG BROWN BEAR (the coach)! Another great dribbling game where every player is active with their ball between their feet--learning to dribble like the pros thru our fun games and great coaching !
Fancy Footwork FANCY FOOTWORK SKILLS! Another daily warm-up activity,” your child will be challenged to master a variety of “Fancy Footwork” skills. Kids have a blast at it and take great pride in mastering their fancy moves!
Follow the Leader  Follow the Leader!
“Follow the Leader” is part of every session’s warm-up. Children love it, and improve their coordination thru a variety of agility drills with fun themes like “hop like a kangaroo!”
Goe Score GO SCORE!
One of our absolute favorite “Game-Like” activities, every child is actively learning how to dribble and then shoot under pressure! In this game, we use four goals and four balls. Four children are going full speed ahead trying to score, while the other four are going full speed ahead trying to defend. The secret is the coach gives the offensive player a head start so he has an edge and lots of goals are scored! Of course we rotate the children from offense to defense each time, so every child equally learns-to-play while they play-to-learn!
Passing Game Passing Games
While the other 6 players are actively playing a passing game, your child’s coach is actively teaching fundamentals using buzzwords like “point and pass,” and teaching each child to pass correctly and accurately.
Real Game LET’EM PLAY PHILOSOPHY!
As recommended by leading experts in youth soccer and sport for young children, when its time to play a game—it’s time to be mom and dad—not the coach! Even our coaches are trained to minimize correction during games and let the learning games run their course. YOU WANT A SMILE ON YOUR CHILD’S FACE before, during, and after our soccer games. THE SKILLS WILL DEVELOP NATURALLY IF YOU DON’T CORRECT THEM OUT OF THE SPORT! ENJOYMENT FIRST! RECOMMENDED READING: “PARENTING YOUNG ATHLETES THE RIPKEN WAY!”
Sharkes and Minnows SHARKS AND MINNOWS!
Not only just a classic in the swimming pool, the Sharks & Minnows game is a terrific ball control exercise on the soccer field.
Shoe Lace SHOELACES EXERCISE!
One of the most important fundamental in scoring goals is to develop a good “shoelace” kick! This slower-paced instructional exercise follows a fast-paced one, so the coach has the players’ undivided attention so that critical fundamental skills can be learned.
Spider Web  Spider Web Game
These three spiders have made a web. They are trying to catch the cockroaches (other players who are dribbling and trying to elude these spiders) in their web! Another great dribbling game the kids just can’t get enough of!!!
